Halloween Concession Stand for Candyfest |
"Candyfest" is an event that the Merle Bruce dorm will be putting on, Friday October 31st from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. Kids and their parents from around the community will come and interact, and get candy, etc. from the various organizations around campus that will have booths set up--much like Fall Festivals, pretty much.
We as CEO will be running a concession stand, and we need some CEO members to work with us on it. We're also going to decorate the stand to make it Hallloween-ish Please let us know if you can help out. Concessions workers will be paid minimum wage, as always. |

We are having our second meeting of the year this Friday, October 24th, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in Fred Hale School of Business, room #101. As always, food and drinks will be provided for everyone, available in the conference room.
We're just going to briefly discuss a few things like the CEO float last week, talk about a plant visit we are looking into for next month, CEO's part in Candyfest and most importantly, this Friday will be the deadline to bring me your $12 for your CEO T-shirt (or sign up AND pay if you want one but haven't signed up yet). I wanted to give everyone plenty of time to scrap for the $12 for the shirt if necessary, but we have to have a cutoff point so we can make sure we get the shirts in before this semester lets out. If you cannot possibly get me the money by the meeting this Friday, remember we will order shirts this spring semester, too. It just may be late in the spring semester by the time we do that, so ordering it now will make sure you have it by the time the spring semester starts. |

We will be building our float--with an Aladdin theme--this week. Here are the times we will be at the float barn, working on it:

We will have our first CEO meeting of the year this Friday, September 19th at 10:00 A.M. in Fred Hale School of Business room # 101. Whether you do or you don't know what CEO is all about, the purpose of this meeting is to let you know what we're about; so we invite you to come, and invite your fellow business majors/minors friends as well.
This will be an introductory meeting where we will introduce this year's officers, enjoy some FREE snacks and drinks, and just get a feel for what we'll be doing as an organization this year. This meeting is a great time just to come and learn and see what CEO is about. I know people have class and other things going on, so we'll try not to be there too long--but that means show up early so we can get started.

The SGA (Student Government Association) of etbu is putting on an organization fair on the night of Tuesday September 9th, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. Different student organizations at etbu will be represented, including CEO. It will be located in the Chapel. |
