CEO Organization Group Picture for the 2008-2009 ETBU Yearbook |
We are scheduled to take our CEO organization picture for the yearbook on April 25th at 10:00 A.M. in Ornelas Gym (same place we met last time). If you'd like to be in the picture, come on down! Just wear Business attire, or quote unquote "Sunday-best"--something along those lines. Since we all have things to do both before and afterward, let's try to get there as early as possible so we can get in and get out. If all of our members that want to be in the picture show up early enough, we might be able to go early or first, and get it done quickly. That having been said, make sure you're not late, so you don't get left out! |

Shreveport Mudbugs Vs. Mississippi RiverKings game |
All right everyone, game is set--we're off (well, on Saturday, February 23rd, that is). If you did not sign up, you can still come to this game and pay at the door, though you may not get the discount we had, you may not be able to sit near us, and it may be booked up--but you can still come and try, and I encourage you to 'cuz these games are fun ^_^ Again, sorry if you could not make this game--we are looking at going again this semester perhaps, and then most definitely in future semesters we'll go again. I just ask you to remember to show, if you've volunteered to drive, on Saturday February 23rd, 2008. The $10 for your ticket is due to Craig Cohen or Travis Jones by If you have signed up to go to the game, you need to pay either Craig Cohen or Travis Jones as soon as you see them so you can be marked as "Paid" and receive a ticket. Friday we will review who all has signed up and paid the $10, and we will order ONLY the number of tickets that have already been paid for. As soon as you see us, pay me (Travis Jones) or Craig Cohen so that you will have a ticket. Friday is the last day--get us the money before then. Please know that Tuesday February 5th, 2007 -- We will be going to a Shreveport Mudbugs game on Saturday, February 23rd, 2008. The game starts at 7:05 P.M., so we will most likely leave around 5:00-5:30. Tickets are $10 apiece, which includes the game and the concert afterwards (more info below). You need to sign up in Fred Hale School of Business NOW, as the game is filling up fast, and we need to get our ticket order to their organization ASAP. This Friday, February 8th will be the last day you can put your name on the sign-up sheet, and then we need to send the order in. This particular game is on, what their organization is calling "Faith and Family Night", as well-known Christian artist Brandon Heath will be in concert after the game. However, we do need a few people to volunteer to drive us, so please contact an officer ASAP or designate on the sign-up sheet (posted in Fred Hale School of Business) if you can drive a car/truck-full to the game. If we do not get any volunteers to drive, we are not going. |

| CEO Plant tour of "Pilgrim's Pride" |
We are looking at going to "Pilgrim's Pride", and have a tour of how this company conducts business. Further, this visit will split us up into our different business disciplines (Accounting, Management, etc.) and take the different groups of students to the various sections of the business that conduct that type of business. This allows for an even more refined plant visit, and real-world experience. |

Third CEO Meeting! |
We're looking at going to a Shreveport Mudbugs game, going to Houston and to hear George Foreman speak to our group, forming a CEO intramural basketball team, having a speaker come and speak to us about ministry and real-estate (yes, both), a CEO intramural softball team later this semester. We are also considering random activities like volleyball, going bowling, or having a cookout or something, during the semester--we'll keep you informed so you can know what to expect, as things become finalized! As I always say, as events draw closer and become finalized, CEO will fill ya in on everything; but these are our plans for this semester as of now. |
